Texas vs. Texas A&M betting guide

Betting options for the next Texas vs. Texas A&M game include the following:

What is the Texas-Texas A&M point spread?

Evening out the betting odds between the two teams, the NCAAF point spread offers better returns when you bet on the favorite and a better chance of winning when you bet on the underdog.

Sportsbooks post a number of points that are essentially what the favorite is expected to win by. Once the game is over, this line is factored into the score to determine which side wins point spread bets.

Ultimately, the favorite covers the spread when they win by more than that number. The underdog covers by winning outright or losing by less than that number.

Texas was an 8-point underdog against A&M the last time they met in 2011. However, the Longhorns covered, winning the game outright. A&M would have had to win by nine for point spread bets on the Aggies to win.

An eight-point Aggies win would have been a push.

What is the Texas-Texas A&M moneyline?

Sometimes there’s more to betting on college football games than just picking winners, but the moneyline is where you do exactly that. You pick a game-winner and book your moneyline bet at the odds as they are currently posted.

Even if they change ahead of the game, you lock in the odds. You either lay money on the favorite or get the chance to win your bet back and more on the underdog.

Texas Longhorns won in 2022 with a +250 moneyline that paid $250 for every $100 bet on Texas. Had A&M won, the -300 moneyline would have paid $100 for every $300 bet.

Texas-Texas A&M totals betting

Here’s where you bet the total score will end up more or less than a totals line set by sportsbooks. The 55.5-point line the last time Texas and A&M met was close to 100% accurate.

However, the under came in with 52 points scored. Had there been 56 or more points scored, the over would have paid.

College football same-game parlays

These bets weren’t around the last time the Longhorns and Aggies played. Parlays are traditionally bets that combine two or more wagers into a single bet, offering better odds because of how hard it is to put multiple winners together.

Same-game parlays are the same thing for the same game. Check to make sure college football prop betting is available in your state. If it is, you’ll be able to combine basic Texas vs. A&M lines with team and player props to place Same Game Parlay bets on this rivalry.
